Hello! Thank you for visiting this page.

In case you’re interested in learning more about what I do and how I got here, I put together this quick read.

My career before photography

From 2007 to 2015, I built my career in the marketing and advertising industry. I started as an Account Executive at Euro RSCG Worldwide, then moved to Summit Media as Senior Marketing Associate, followed by a role as Assistant Marketing Manager at Branded Lifestyle, Inc. Lastly, I was a Marketing Communications Consultant at Pinstripe Tailored Communications, a boutique PR firm under The Event Architects.

Pursuing photography

In 2011, I started moonlighting as an events photographer while still working full-time in Summit Media. Later that year, I left the company and studied Fashion Photography at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. I continued to work as a project-based events and PR manager and Event Program Director while doing photography until 2018.

My marketing background turned out to be an advantage in my journey as a photographer. I was able to quickly fine-tune my photos depending on what was required – a shot for a magazine spread, engaging images on social media, even photos that were needed for internal reports.

I started really small from covering events with around 20 guests to kids’ parties. A few years later, I found myself at major fashion shows like Cosmopolitan's highly-anticipated Bachelor Bash, society parties such as Preview’s Best Dressed Ball, and brand launches for Dior, Estee Lauder Company, Klook.ph, Netflix and more.

Eventually, my clients also pushed me to do lifestyle and product photography for online content in the beauty, fashion, wellness, and hospitality categories. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, I have collaborated with over 100 international and local brands.

When I’m not working…

I’m a total night owl— I’m way more productive after dark. I can do a deep cleaning of my place at 10PM or edit my website at 2AM just because I feel like it.

Travel is my escape from work, but not from my camera. On trips, long exposure photography is a must. I’ll shoot late into the night, and no weather can stop me from capturing the perfect light streaks. Sometimes, I’d risk hypothermia for a killer shot.

I love food and trying new culinary breakthroughs. But honestly, a cozy night in watching Friends or a Wes Anderson movie is pure bliss.

Thanks for reading this far! If you’re in Manila and see me at an event, say hi! I am not good at remembering names, but I’ll take your photo and send it real-time via airdrop. Haha!
